Another thing is the age profile and the type of people who own Minis.  The old guard of wrenching DIY drive everywhere owners are literally dying out...

The new wave of status symbol owners who pay people to maintain their investment won't be caught drinking beer and talking cars in a parking lot after dark as their conversation would be exhausted very quickly.

CMU didn't have an event this year. It was last October and next April. In relation to recent MME's, this one had a better classic turn out due to club hosting it. That's why we and a couple other Minis came. They did a great job with the drives!

Mini Meet North.

CMU.

Both these things have hurt MME attendance in the last few years.  West attendance fluctuates according to location, if there is a 'dense' population of cars nearby you will always get a better attendance.

Alan: thanks for sharing the pics. Enjoyed by those who are not able to attend Mini Meets.

Awww man...

I may have had an amazing time gallivanting about at FoS entertaining tens of thousands of people with my newly discovered prowess on the tannoy, but you've really made me miss MME even more than I did already !
The pics of the Funkhana really make me sad I missed seeing my baby in action.

Had a blast at the event, and made it all the way there and back in a fully functioning classic mini.
