Honestly, it's a crappy photo. The one photo I have is older and shows the carbs off and the generator off and generally looks like "Oh crap, what a mess" from a stare-at-a-picture and scrutinize-the-details perspective. It wasn't taken with that in mind. None of them were, actually. I just snapped them in a disgusted-with-myself manner.

I'll snap a new, nicely staged one today and post it up. The generator (newer replacement because old one was kaput) is on it now as is the coil. The rear carb needs a fuel tube from the float bowl to the jet. It pulled out, which is why I yanked them.

It's on CL, too.

Spank,

You are offering an engine for sale and only include photos of the FREE extra goodies. What sort of marketing is that?

Show us the engine!

Oh, and a bump for you sir!

Selling 1275 Engine and Transmission-- runs --comes attached to a car.

Car is 1964 MG1100. RHD. Has Clear CA title. Reg expired. Car has some body issues. Roll bar. Kill switch in the dash. Full stock interior. Some evidence of road rally or possibly competition history. However, the stickers on the A panels are put there just for fun by previous owner. Hydrolastic is pumped up. Brakes brake.

I've only ever driven it on my property to move the car around to a new parking spot. Paid $2500 for it and I need to get $2500 back out of it. Not negotiable unless you leave behind some parts.

Head has 11 stud conversion on the head but it is indeed a solid America block, not an S block. 4 syncro remote transmission. Dual carbs (one jet tube is kaput-- I got it running easily using a single HIF carb that is NOT included). If you ask what state of tune and or rebuilt and/or how old it is, I can only shrug in reply.

I can help with towing short distance for price of rt diesel fuel @ 10mpg
