The tachometer display on my 2006 Mini Cooper is flickering on and off, the lights go on and off and the needle jumps up to a regular reading when power is being supplied, drops to 0 when it isn't. I appreciate anyone's thoughts. I'm assuming a loose ground or something, thought maybe there might be something easy though that I hadn't thought of.

Without any real knowledge on how to troubleshoot bad wiring, I did pull the tachometer off and re-seat the wiring harness, thought maybe there might be a loose connection, no luck.
