The part number you quote is for the brake pedal (LHD) <76
Suggestions: A picture of what you want would help.
"I can probably straighten and reinforce once I get the shaft out"
This leads me to believe you are talking about the shaft that holds the brake and clutch pedals to the pedal box.
Is the pedal box the NLA part you are looking for?
Another suggestion - If this is the shaft you are talking about.  The last time I had someone bring me a pedal box with a frozen shaft in it - it took NJ and I about 10 - 15 minutes and my 12 ton shop press to remove it without any damage to the pedal box.

The entire pedal box assembly is available used... every Mini came with one and MOST were about the same.  We may have one or two here, and I have one or two to modify for mounting my tilt-steering column....

21A1066 is the actual brake pedal not any of the bracketry.  It is also the pre-'76 square pad type not the later coffin shape.

Any chance of a photo to aid us ?

p/n is 21A1066. MM and Mini Spares UK show them as NLA. The shaft is completely frozen in place and the effort to remove it, after soaking in Kroil, has bent the bracket. I can probably straighten and then reinforce the bracket once I get the shaft out. Possibly heat will help break the bond.

However, if someone had one laying around collecting dust . . . . . .

Which bit do you mean by the pedal bracket ?

A part number would be good.

If it's the bit I think you mean, it's the same side to side.

Have you considered asking on this forum to see if anyone has a spare? Maybe mention where you are so that you can get one close to you to prevent excessive shipping costs?

I need to replace my pedal bracket for a LHD non servo car. Mine is frozen and bent so a new one is in order. The major suppliers say they are NLA.

Any suggestions?
