 Is there a delay in your power vsteering at startup?

No, this is not 'normal'.  A brand new ZF pump with the CHF11S power steering fluid - it should be functional as soon as you start the car....

The only thing I can think to check is to confirm power is getting to the pump as soon as you start the car.....

Not normal I would say the 2005 and 2008 my son drives had no delay at all.

Mini's are like buses they come along in a bunch
