With the smooth lines they were trying to create you would have thought they would have eliminated the external petrol filler neck and cap and installed some internal boot hinges, not a fan of that rear light set up.

If you want to buy a Bini then why not get a real one? Waste of a classic mini.  Except the seats I like them seats........

Mini's are like buses they come along in a bunch

Just trading on a famous reputation ...  hence terms like DB5 "esque"....

Don't remember any connection between Aston and Mini though so they're casting a wide net....

Good question, their website features a very "DB5-esque" car, alongside the deseamed-mini-with-LED-tailights, but DB sold Aston to a bank in '72, and died in '93 at 89 years old.  I couldn't find anything specifically connecting their "David Brown" with that "David Brown".

One thing's for sure, the detail work on those cars is exquisite.
