I would be interested in this as well. Both our LWB have the rear bars. I have never adjusted them. One came with the woodie and I have left it as it was. When I replaced the one on the tinnie, I just set it the same as the woodie.

LWBs certainly handle differently than the sedans after the apex. Yesterday the tinnie was weighted down with tools and camera equipment and still felt different in the long sweepers on the freeways.

Together with build of 1185cc power unit from 1098, I am doing a number of things to prepare the OZ Window Van for the Alcan 5000 Summer Rally 2018.

The Rally covers the better part of 5,000 miles from Kirkland, Washington to Fairbanks, Alaska through B.C. & Yukon Territory with approx. 500 miles of TSD stages on bitumen & gravel...over 9 days.  Not for the faint of heart or the unprepared.

So, I would address the remaining suspension issues (have HD/adjustable, tie rods/control arms, lower arms, Koni Sport adj dampers up front), will increase ride height, add roof rack for fuel (can't be inboard) & sump guard.  Will gusset tie rod ears & stitch weld front subbie when out, rebuild steering rack, tow hooks are there...add extra driving lights for night work.

Seriously, advice on rear sway bar for LWB if you have any please.

OZ Window Van runs on 12" wheels with Yokies.

Standard genuine Moulton's Dan.  Ride is fine until I throw it around a roundabout, or similar, with some pace (like leaving the big crap behind).

It was actually a guy in an open Porsche with girlfriend's hair streaming in the breeze.  He closed up on me on preparing to exit Hwy. 1 at Abbotsford a few years ago.  Thought, 'Can you go around here without slowing down?'  And he couldn't, they both leaned back into their seats with WHOA written all over their faces...as they disappeared behind me on the big cloverleaf exit.  Years later I still get a kick out of cornering a Mini to the surprise of followers.

So, back to rear sway bar for LWB Mini.

Have you got the tall cones in the back or the standard height ones? The kit I got had (I believe) standard genuine Moultons.
The tall Smootha Rides have much more compliance when lightly loaded but "firm up" once you get the initial body roll set because the outside ones are receiving additional load. I think much of the initial body roll is in the front. I imagine a van is lighter than a Saloon or Estate since there is less glass. A Window van would be closer to an estate. Maybe you just need a bigger tool kit in the back. I'd be interested to know if an anti-sway bar would compensate for this light-load compliance.

.

I have Moulton Smootha Ride cones, hi-los on the OZ Mini Window Van...and notice more body roll, especially at the rear when cornering with a little spirit.

Anyone using a rear anti-sway bar setup with Moulton's cones??
