Your MINI has the Getrag 5-speed, you can find the model number in our Manual Transmission Fluid Application Guide here.
This transmission was used in the R50 2005-2006 Mini Cooper non-S Hardtop, and the 2005-2008 R52 Mini Cooper non-S Convertible.
You will find that internal transmission parts for this transmission is almost impossible to find.
Good luck!
Ken

Excuse the new guy questions. Just bought my first Mini Cooper a week ago from a guy that didn't want to fix it. Long story short, bought it with transmission issues. Runs and drives perfect other than a bad noise and holebin the transmission case. Rotated it around and can see a loose bolt in there. Also fluid is pouring out of the bellhousing between the engine and trans. But these aren't my questions I need help with right away. Everywhere I read says that the 5 speed was only made up to 2004 but mine is a 2005, 2 door, base, and has a 5 speed manual. Every time I look up parts by car it keeps giving me options for a 6 speed manual. What am I missing here? Can someone give me the exact model number of my transmission so I can order parts or a whole used transmission and not get the wrong stuff please? Car is for my fiancé, got a good deal on it but I want to get it back on the road asap for her. I'm just really confused of why I have a 2005 (production date 4/15/05) with a 5 speed when everything I see shows that it should be a 6 speed. Only thing I can assume is that the base had a 5 speed and the s model has the 6 speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
