I use blinking third brake light on my mini, my mini becomes more visible day and night.   Very easy to install.  When you brake, it will flash for 3secs then light becomes steady.. Cheap insurance!

Every comes in threes, so you should be good for another 40 years. People are not paying attention and too many distractions.

US
I haven't had an accident since 1967. I live in a very driver friendly community with some of the lowest insurance rates in the US. With only 2K on my Mini I have been hit 3 times; rear-ended at a red light ($2100), smashed into in a parking lot ($1600) and today backed into while parked at the curb putting a 4" dent in my stainless steel bumper. WTF! Do I need to go to a trucker's supply shop and festoon my Mini with 250 LED lights in order to be seen? It's painted flame red for crying out loud.
