Paeco Imports out of Birmingham, Alabama sell a copper head gasket ( www.paeco.com ). They are not cheap and they only have them in 0.060". Site has some information on them and a phone number/ email for additional questions.

We used solid copper on the race motors many years ago. Never caused any problems as far as I remember. Just make sure the surfaces are flat and the gaskets soft. We used to smear the surface with copper slip but don't remember if it was reccomended or something we decided would be good
Mini's are like buses they come along in a bunch

Cometic do a larger bore 998 gasket for those of us who have punched big holes in the block, great.
The drawback is that it is a copper gasket, which appears to have a few eccentricities in use...
Anyone got any direct experience of them, or copper head gaskets ?
