Brain fart #13 so far this morning,

Keep posting F/B rather than F/G for fibre glass, too much Face Book for me

Sorry

That is a Domino HT. It is the Hard Top version of the one superflyoldguy posted.

I believe it is also the same style as the one oldminimover49 had that he says is now sitting in a cornfield.

Ronnie B in Maine has a true South American built cord in F/B

Miguel Plano in Gatineau Que is the true expert on all things Cord

I has a beautiful Domino in BRG with a 1380 Swiftune, but it leaked at the doors and boot, now sitting in a cornfield in Indiana.

I also had a Gen 1 Pimlico in F/B, nice car, Chuck Gaines in TN has it now

It shouldn't be that hard to post from your phone. When you're in the posting window, find the big green button at the top left and click on it. It will give you options to choose from.

XL2SJN would still be short a number. XL2S1JN would be correct, would it not? The 1 for body type (round nose) and J for Canadian built Mini of 1978. This assumes an English built car.

Probably significant in that KD built the car 25 years ago. Please post a picture, or several.

Yes it is green. Does that have any significance?

What state do you live in?  I asked about what country because there were glass minis made in S. America.

Maybe someone nearby can take a shot of your car and post it here.  If you have a computer, why not send the photo to your own computer and then up load it from there?

I believe you are correct with Domino. It has 2 little scoops by the rear wheels.

Does it have drip rails?  Might be a Domino if not.

Maybe it's from Chile.

Wikipedia Mini

Mark II Mini: 1967–1970

In 1969, a fibreglass version of the Mini Mark II was developed for British Leyland's Chilean subsidiary (British Leyland Automotores de Chile, S.A., originally the independent assembler EMSSA). The bodyshell mould was created by the
Peel Engineering Company. Production began in 1970 and continued for a few years; these fibreglass Minis can be recognized by the missing body seams and by larger panel gaps. The Chilean market was never very large and the hyperinflation and political and social collapse led to the 1973 coup The Arica plant was closed in 1974.[40] The reason for the fibreglass body was to enable Leyland to meet very strict requirements for local sourcing, increasing to 70.22% in 1971.[40]
