I was swept off my feet at first because I believed his David Lee Roth story too for awhile.  We all dream the big dreams, never thinking we're the one that could be let down hard.  

For all my emotional investment, I expected roses at least.  But the last communication I got was a coupon code. 

I can be dumped - fine, it happens.  Now it's time to heal, and focus on repairing my marriage.

At first I was confused, though flattered.  I played along with the tease hoping to get discounts.  I needed the parts but felt cheap and used. 

Then it took a wild, passionate course.  You know how it starts - "Come over and help me with this piston".

But eventually, the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long.   Suddenly I'm old news.  Now I can hardly get a text returned, and I heard there's a box of chocolates from Cooper Tune Steve in the break room.

OK I thought my modeling career was way in the past... Where are you finding these pictures of me? I do remember those socks though... that was part of a session with the Liverpool football team for "PUMA" or "ADIDAS" cleats! Did you find the team photo of 15 guys crammed into that red Mini? Kelli got a kick out of those socks too! When I got here, she looked like she'd been crying!

When we first talked this idea over, I suggested getting us semi-geezer-guys into "swimwear" and prancing around our various Minis. I thought it would go viral!

I wonder if I could get some of our LONG-TIME forum members to submit photos of themselves in compromising positions?  Come to think of it, I hope Cooper Tune Steve doesn't see these photos! He already has garments wadded up over my "ego"!  If he finds out I was a model....  Next it'll come out that I was the lead singer for Van Halen in the 80s..... Is nothing sacred??

Boy oh boy, that brought tears to my eyes.  The good kind...I can't wait to show Jemal when he gets in this morning.

Mini Mania invites you to submit your photographs as part of our 2014 Classic Mini Calendar Contest! We are welcoming submissions of original photographs from April 29, 2013 – June 30, 2013.  

From the hundreds of entries we will receive thirteen (13) photos will be chosen to adorn the 2014 Classic Mini Calendar, one for each month of the calendar and one for the front cover.  A photograph of each winner’s photo will be published in the calendar.
